Planning on a camping can be as tedious as going for a month-long out-of-the country tour. Even though it will just take a week or two, all needed stuff must be prepared far ahead of time. Surely, you will not opt to go back home to fetch a left toaster or a fishing rod. Most importantly, you will need to rent tent weeks before to have the best camping sanctuary.

Go to your basement to check for a tent that you no longer use. If you can’t find one or there is one but already damaged, then it’s time to rent out a tent. Do not immediately think of going downtown to find a store. Sit down for a while and think of websites that offer good deals of tent rentals. Search the Internet for tent rental stores near your place. Although there are distant stores that serve customers via a shipment system, it is still advisable to pick it up in person.

Do this weeks ahead so you can choose the best tent. If you plan on a holiday camping, stores might run out fast of the best tent supplies, so choose the tent and have it reserved. Do everything to see the tent in person and inspect it properly before closing a deal. It may look good on screen but damage might surprise you after shipping.

Visit the camping site to plan exactly where the tent should be assembled. Most probably, the tent should sit on a plain elevated ground and slightly distant from bodies of water. However, if you will go on fishing, just keep the tent from possible impacts of tide and flooding. Learn about tent rental policies regarding the damage on the tent.

Tent rental is usually guided with a policy. The customer is asked by the store to agree on terms and conditions, including charges for tent damage when returned and late charge when not returned on schedule. Avoid any violations of the policy so that you won’t have extra charge.

Bring only enough things during your travel for camping. It is a treat for yourself so you will surely not want to get burdened with stuff on your way. After tent rental, expect the tent to arrive at least three days before the camping date. Do not waste time and assemble your tent a few hours before your planned use.
